At Little Creek Sanctuary, we take in older, unsound or unwanted farm animals and offer them a soft landing for the rest of their days. We are a sanctuary first so every animal is completely free to engage in an activity or not. Those of the animals who choose to help us with programs including: Grounding and Mindfulness, PTSD; Depression; Anxiety; ASD; Animal hugs for terminal patients and their families; Sibling support program where we teach how horses communicate non-verbally to siblings of non-verbal children; and so much more. The animals can even help with some homework (elementary math and reading).

About 10% of our funding is through donations, 40% from lessons and equine assisted learning (EAL), and 50% from bake sales, craft sales and from vegetable sales.

The animals will always come first and their care is our priority. In order to fit everything into our busy schedules, we decided to offer most of our baked goods as pre-baked and frozen (or ready to freeze). Vegetables, herbs, and berries will always be picked fresh of course.

We REALLY APPRECIATE how many of our clients understand that their purchases are directly supporting the sanctuary. There is simply no way we could do this without your support! THANK YOU!!!
