Because you would be helping ANIMALS in need and also PEOPLE who desperately need animal therapy but cannot afford the usual fees.

At Little Creek Sanctuary, we take in older, unsound or unwanted farm animals and offer them a soft landing for the rest of their days. We are a sanctuary first so every animal is completely free to engage in an activity or not. Those of the animals who choose to help us with programs including: Grounding and Mindfulness, PTSD; Depression; Anxiety; ASD; Animal hugs for terminal patients and their families; Sibling support program where we teach how horses communicate non-verbally to siblings of non-verbal children; and so much more. The horses can even help with some homework (elementary).
